The Story Behind Scale of Change

The Scale of Change Film Tour was born from a simple realization: a documentary alone is not enough.

After a successful tour in 2025 and the release of the Scale of Change Together for Atlantic Salmon documentary, it became clear that the impact reached far beyond the screen. Conversations were starting, communities were connecting, and people wanted to be part of something bigger. What began as a film evolved into a movement.

WATCH FILM

We decided to grow Scale of Change into a traveling film tour to bring stories directly to the people—river by river, community by community—creating spaces where anglers, filmmakers, scientists, guides, and conservationists could come together. Each stop builds on the last, strengthening a growing network united by a shared responsibility to protect wild Atlantic salmon and the rivers they depend on.

The mission is simple but urgent: to scale awareness, amplify voices, and grow a community capable of real change. By combining powerful films, in-person gatherings, and authentic storytelling, the Scale of Change Film Tour exists to turn inspiration into action—and to ensure the future of Atlantic salmon is shaped not by silence, but by collective commitment.
